Being Jon Lindemann is all about living the Jon Lindemann experience, a unique state of existence in itself.
This week, we launched into our Top Five Games of 2024.
If you’re not familiar with RFN’s way of doing things, let me tell you, our process is as laid-back as it gets—practically no rules. The loose guidelines suggest the game should be on a Nintendo system in 2024, but even that’s not set in stone. Ideally, it’s a game we’ve played this year, though there have been standout moments where games outside this timeframe have made it through.
With such a flexible approach, deciding on a collective Top Five is out of the question, leading to personalized lists from each of us.
There’s naturally some crossover, though. Interestingly, two lists share the same #1 pick. No point in guessing which game we’re talking about—you simply won’t get it right, I guarantee. Yet, I’m sure someone will try to convince us they predicted it. But we’ll know better!
Go ahead and whisper your fanciful guesses to us online.
A huge thanks to Guillaume Veillette for editing this episode. Our theme song, “Men of Leisure,” was crafted especially for Radio Free Nintendo by Perry Burkum, whose other work can be enjoyed on SoundCloud. We wrapped up this episode with “Chasing After Dad” from Another Code Recollection, a special request by A.G. Big thanks to Nintendo Co., Ltd. for the rights.
