Immerse yourself in a whole new universe this year as Animal Crossing: New Horizons makes its way into SEA LIFE centres across the UK. Developed by Nintendo, this beloved life simulation game whisks players away to a deserted island paradise, where interacting with its charming residents becomes part of your everyday fun.

A Unique UK Adventure

Marking a first in the UK, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which has enchanted over 46 million players globally since its launch in March 2020, joins forces with SEA LIFE UK to bring a lively in-person experience. This fresh collaboration invites guests into a world teeming with vibrant marine life, alongside familiar faces from the game.

Starting at SEA LIFE Manchester on the 8th of February, 2025, this special tour will journey to other SEA LIFE locations like Birmingham, Brighton, London, and Chessington World of Adventures Resort. It’s set to enchant fans of both SEA LIFE and Animal Crossing throughout the UK.

Dive into an Engaging Experience

SEA LIFE UK is under the wing of Merlin Entertainments, the world’s second-largest entertainment group and the largest aquarium network. With themed zones spanning the Atlantic to the Tropics and housing thousands of marine species, SEA LIFE is just the right setting for this adventure.

Catherine Pritchard, General Manager at SEA LIFE London Aquarium, expressed her excitement: "We’re thrilled about this innovative experience across several SEA LIFE sites. Guests will embark on a journey with Animal Crossing characters, all while being surrounded by our stunning marine creatures, from Green Sea Turtles to Zebra Sharks. It’s an adventure perfect for family or friends.”

Discover and Connect with Characters

Armed with a tour guide, visitors will traverse the ‘Sea Life Islands’, bumping into favorite island residents like Aurora and Octavian, and uncovering a vibrant marine ecosystem. There’s even a fossil dig to trace the lineage of today’s sea creatures, plus a scavenger hunt for Gulliver on the island’s shore.

As visitors collect stamps featuring characters, they’ll pick up fascinating tidbits about SEA LIFE’s inhabitants, capped off by meet-and-greets with Tom Nook and Isabelle. Before heading out, fans can snag exclusive Animal Crossing merchandise at the aquarium store.
