Bethesda is inviting players to chime in with their thoughts on The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered. They’ve set up a special suggestions channel on their official Discord, hoping to gather feedback and fresh ideas to enhance the game.

Oblivion Remastered, a modern take on the 2006 classic, has been rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5. This version boasts improved graphics with ray tracing, enhanced textures, a refined combat system, and smarter NPC AI. Ambient sounds have been re-recorded, and there are extra quality-of-life features. It even includes all the post-launch DLC from the original, such as Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles. For those craving more, the Premium Edition offers extra questlines, weapons, and armor. While the game has received mostly positive reviews, some players miss the old item-menu subcategories that made the original’s inventory management a breeze.

In an effort to refine the game further, Bethesda is collecting player input on potential improvements. Despite calls for official mod support similar to what’s available for Starfield, Bethesda has confirmed that won’t be happening for Oblivion Remastered, which has left some fans disappointed. Nevertheless, the PC modding community is thriving, with over 200 mods already enhancing the game—from improved inventory management to a horse whistle feature.

Even without official mod support, PC players are diving into modding to personalize and enrich their gaming experience.
