Unfortunately, their collaboration with Stadia left some bug issues unresolved. When Google pulled the plug on its internal gaming projects in 2021, the team swiftly transitioned to Raccoon Logic, picking up where they left off. Spotted in San Francisco’s bustling Union Square during GDC, the mischievous billboard featured “Gunther Harrison, CEO of Alta Interglobal,” poking fun with a humorous message: “Has a Harrison fired you lately? You might be eligible for emotional support.” This witty advertisement is a nod to the rollercoaster history with Phil Harrison, whose unexpected shutdown decisions significantly impacted Journey to the Savage Planet’s Stadia launch.
Raccoon Logic’s upcoming sequel promises exciting gameplay enhancements, aiming to give players new adventures that seamlessly blend action with satire in a visually striking sci-fi setting. The fallout from their time with Stadia seems to have only fueled their creativity.
